As a lifelong maker with a career in Information Technology, I’ve always appreciated the beauty of a well-built system. But I found myself craving a creative outlet that existed outside of a computer screen. What started as a hobby - building everything from floating shelves to furniture - eventually led to a realization right in our own kitchen.
When our mass-produced plastic cutting board began flaking into our food, I didn't just buy a new one; I built one. Then another. I soon realized that while a table stays in the dining room, a cutting board lives at the heart of the home.
More Than a Gift: A Referral Engine
After earning hundreds of 5-star reviews as an Etsy Bestseller, I saw that my cutting boards were becoming more than just kitchen tools. They were becoming the centerpieces of new beginnings, enjoyed across all 50 states and around the world.
In a world of mass-produced imports, disposable gift baskets, and expiring gift cards, a handcrafted wooden cutting board or coaster set is a permanent fixture crafted right here in our Columbus, Ohio workshop.
